Directed by Chanje Kunda, Yvonne McCalla and Colin Thorpe, Black Jesus is set in a future Manchester in a parallel universe called Onechester, where a new age is promised and new forms of language flourish. The show will feature a select line-up of Speakeasy poets and live music from the world-class Speakeasy band, plus a special guest appearance from the dynamic Roger Robinson. He is the author of a short fiction collection, Adventures in 3D (lubin & kleyner) and a collection of poetry, Suitcase (waterways).
